TrackbarSetSelectRange Function
Overview
The TrackbarSetSelectRange function sets visual select area on the trackbar.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = TrackbarSetSelectRange ( int id, word start, word end );
Parameters
id
An int containing the control ID of a trackbar control.
start
A word specifying the smallest (left or top) value for the slider.
end
A word specifying the largest (right or bottom) value for the slider.
Return Value
An int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure. Common errors include: ERROR_RANGE if id is an invalid control ID for the open dialog or ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE if no dialog is open. GetLastError and GetLastErrorMessage will return additional error information.
Remarks
A select area does not restrict the slider’s movement but rather provides a visual highlight area.
Because this message takes two 16-bit unsigned integer values, the maximum range that this message can specify is from 0 to 65,535.
In order to use the select functions, the TBS_ENABLESELRANGE style must be set for the control.
Setting invalid positions will result in a range error being returned.
