Overview
The IsEmptyString function tests if a string is effectively empty. White space, tabs and returns characters are not counted.
Syntax/Parameters

boolean = IsEmptyString ( string data );
boolean = IsEmptyString ( wstring data );
Parameters
data
A string or wstring containing string data.
Return Value
Returns TRUE if value contains is empty (see Remarks) or FALSE if it does not.
Remarks
Prior to testing, the data parameter is trimmed for white space. If the result is no characters, then the string is empty and TRUE is returned. This is useful when the source data cannot be controlled. For example,
if (ss == "") {
... do something ...
}
Will fail if ss contains spaces, yet in a practical sense, ss is empty.
