5.5 Speciality String Functions

5.5.1 Overview

A series of special string functions are provided that do not categorize with other functions such as string testers or string manipulation.

5.5.2 Functions

Formatting:

FormatString — Formats a string with embedded parameters for accounting, decimal, hex, etc.

Language:

WordToPlural — Converts a word to plural using US English rules.

WordToSingular — Converts a word to singular using US English rules.

Leaders:

GetLeaderFillPosition — Gets the position of a leader back fill, -1 if error.

Sorting:

CreateSortImage — Creates a sortable image of a string.
