Overview
The PoolAppendFile function appends the contents of a specified file onto a String Pool Object.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = PoolAppendFile ( handle hPool, string name );
Parameters
hPool
A handle specifying the String Pool Object.
name
A string that specifies a local file or a URI file.
Return Value
Returns an int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure.
Remarks
The file is appended to the pool ‘as is’ without processing. The PoolAppendFile function does not check for data integrity, and if binary data is in the file stream, the results may not be predictable (/0 bytes will chop up the pool).
For maximum flexibility, the file is opened with read share-write and share read options.
