Chapter Nine — Dialog Functions (continued)
Overview
The DateControlSet sets the contents of a date/time control (“SysDateTimePick32” class common control) using a string in ISO-8601 format.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = DateControlSet ( int id, string date );
Parameters
id
An int containing the control ID of a date/time control.
date
A string containing an ISO-9601 formatted string. The date must be in the format yyyy-mm-dd.
Return Value
An int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure.
Remarks
The time component of the ISO-8601 value is ignored. The control must be set to a date style.
If the date is badly formatted or out of range (i.e., 13th month) an error will be returned. By default, the Date/Time control will pick up the current date.
If on creation the DTS_SHOWNONE style bit is set, the checkbox will be checked if a valid date parameter is supplied. If the date parameter is empty, the checkbox will be unchecked.
