Overview
The ComboBoxGetItemCount function returns the count of items in the list box portion of the combo box.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = ComboBoxGetItemCount ( int id );
Parameters
id
An int containing the control ID of a combo box.
Return Value
Returns an int containing the number of items in the list box, 0 if the list box is empty, or a formatted error code on failure. Common error codes are as follows: ERROR_RANGE if id is an invalid control ID for the open dialog or ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE if no dialog is open. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.
Remarks
Like an array, the items in the list box portion are numbered beginning at zero. Use the ComboBoxFindItem or the ComboBoxFindItemExact functions to retrieve the index of a specific item.
