Chapter Nine — Dialog Functions (continued)
Overview
The TrackbarSetRange function sets the minimum and maximum logical positions for the slider in a trackbar.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = TrackbarSetRange ( int id, word low, word high );
Parameters
id
An int containing the control ID of a trackbar control.
low
A word specifying the zero-based lowest logical position.
high
A word specifying the zero-based highest logical position. The maximum value is 32,767 (0x7FFF).
Return Value
An int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure. Common errors include: ERROR_RANGE if id is an invalid control ID for the open dialog or ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE if no dialog is open.
Remarks
If the current slider position is outside the new range, the TrackbarSetRange function sets the slider position to the new maximum or minimum value. This function does not change the appearance or positions of the end points, only the logical values associated with the start and end logical points.
