Overview
The SGMLIsEmptyElement function tests the recently parsed element as an empty (self-contained) element.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
boolean = SGMLIsEmptyElement ( handle hSGML );
Parameters
hSGML
A handle to an SGML Object.
Return Value
A boolean value as TRUE if the parsed item was an element and the element was self-contained or FALSE if not. The function also returns FALSE on error. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve a formatted error code.
Remarks
A empty or self-contained element ends with a / character. For example: <br/> or <meta name="thing" />.
