Overview
The OutlineGetString function retrieves the text associated with an outline entry. Depending on the settings, the string may be limited to the first series of words for the item.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string = OutlineGetString ( handle hOutline, int position );
Parameters
hOutline
A handle to an HTML Outline Object.
position
An int specifying the zero-based position for a mapped outline entry.
Return Value
A string containing the first segment of text from an outline item.
Remarks
The OutlineGetString function only retrieves the first few hundred words of an outline item.
