11.16 Compare HTML Files

11.16.1 General

Due to the wide variety of coding in HTML comparing HTML files can be problematic. Legato provides basic and advanced HTML comparison functions such as a standard comparison with whitespace all the way comparing HTML ignoring styles and tag structures.

11.16.2 Functions

CompareHTMLCreateMerged — Compares two HTML files and creates a third file that shows the changes.

CompareHTMLGetFirstDifference — Compares two HTML files returning an Enumeration Object.

CompareHTMLGetNextDifference — Gets the next difference from the compared HTML files.

CompareHTMLGetDifferenceProperties — Gets the properties of the difference between compared HTML files.
