XDXCreateUnitComponent Function

Overview

The XDXCreateUnitComponent function processes a unit id into an engram component value.

Syntax/Parameters

Syntax

string = XDXCreateUnitComponent ( string data );

Parameters

data

A string containing a valid unit ID.

Return Value

A string containing the adjusted name to be used as a component in an engram or empty on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve a formatted error code and GetLastErrorMessage for additional detail.

Remarks

The character syntax of the items must be correct.

The reciprocal function is XDXGetUnitProperties.
