Overview
The XBRLSetSchemaRef function allows the schema reference, or top level scheme url, to be set.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = XBRLSetSchemaRef ( handle hXM, string url );
Parameters
hXM
A handle to an XBRL Object.
url
A string containing a valid URL specifying the schema location for the instance.
Return Value
Returns an int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure. The only error the function can return is for a bad handle.
Remarks
The schema reference is the top level schema that is used to import the DTS. On loading an instance, it is normally automatically set.
When creating instances, it may be necessary to set the schema reference. It is not used by any functions except exporting code.
