11.20.15 Taxonomy — Calculations

Calculations describe a mathematic relationship between concepts. A calculation consists of a role, optional title, total concept (group) and items. The order of the items is determined by an order number.

Within the XBRL Model, calculation data exists at two levels: linkbase level and high level. The linkbase level consists of tables containing data as read from a linkbase while the high level data is a compilation of the calculation data from linkbase. High level data is only available after a post process operation (XBRLPostProcess) or if the calculation data is added or edited.

When loaded from a linkbase or linkbases, calculation information consists of a calculation link, arcs and locators.
