Overview
The FTPPutFile function copies a file to the remote FTP server from a local file.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = FTPPutFile ( handle hFTP, string source, string destination );
Parameters
hFTP
A handle to an FTP connection. Use the FTPOpenConnection function to open a connection.
source
A string that specifies the source filename located on the local file system.
destination
A string specifying a destination filename either as a complete path with a root or relative to the working directory.
Return Value
Returns an int ERROR_NONE (0) or a formatted error code on failure. Use the GetLastError and GetLastErrorMessage functions to retrieve additional details.
The error can be for the server, the source file or the destination file.
Remarks
The destination path should not have the root path character.
