Overview
The RegistryDeleteKey function deletes a specified key entry and its value. The key entry cannot contain subkeys.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = RegistryDeleteKey ( string key, string node )
Parameters
key
A string containing the name of the key from which to delete the node.
node
A string containing the name of the key node to delete.
Return Value
An int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure.
Remarks
The node can contain values but cannot contain any additional keys. Use the RegistryEnumerateKeys to create a tree to delete all the nodes one by one.
