SetApplicationMetaData Function
Overview
The SetApplicationMetaData function sets the content for predefined meta data.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = SetApplicationMetaData ( string name, [string context], string data );
Parameters
name
A string specifying the case-sensitive name of the meta data to retrieve. The string cannot exceed 512 characters.
context
An optional string specifying a case-sensitive context. The string cannot exceed 512 characters.
data
A string specifying the meta data to set. The maximum size is 1,048,575 bytes.
Return Value
Returns an int with information specific to the meta item or a formatted error code on failure.
Remarks
If all the DLLs are queried and the item cannot be found, the return value will be ERROR_EOD.
Some meta items will allow a context or sub name to be specified. Add this string as required.
