EDGARResponseGetFileNumbers Function
Overview
The EDGARResponseGetFileNumbers function returns array containing SEC file numbers extracted from the response message, if present.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string [] = EDGARResponseGetFileNumbers ( string data | handle hMessage );
Parameters
data
A string containing the response message. Or,
hMessage
A handle to a Response Message Object.
Return Value
A string list containing the file numbers returned in the response message or an empty list on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve a formatted error code.
Remarks
The function expects the ‘FILE NUMBERS(S)’ heading in the incoming messages. If it is not present, the function will return an empty table with the error ERROR_EOD. A file number of ‘None.’ can also be returned as provided by the SEC.
SEC File Numbers returned depend on the form and the Act the company is registered amongst other things.
