GetLastDefaultLog Function

Overview

The GetLastDefaultLog function returns an error log if available from the last function called. This information pertains to result of the previously called function. This function should be called immediately after the suspect function or after an IsError function.

Syntax/Parameters

Syntax

handle = GetLastDefaultLog ( );

Parameters

(none)

Return Value

Returns a handle to a Log Object or NULL_HANDLE on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve a formatted error code. Use the CloseHandle function to release the log.

Remarks

Only a select few functions such as RunScript will return an default log. The Log Object pointed to by the handle will be the same log that would be displayed in the IDE. It is possible, depending on the function, that an empty log will be returned.

With the exception of GetLastError and related functions, the next function run will release any pending logs that have not been retrieved.
