Chapter Five — General Functions (continued)
Overview
The Swap32Word function swaps the bytes of a 32-bit word. This can be used to convert from little-endian to big endian and vice versa.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
dword = Swap32Word ( dword data );
Parameters
data
A dword or int to be converted. Larger values such as qword or long will be truncated.
Return Value
Returns a dword with the bytes swapped.
Remarks
This function can be used to interface to data and formats that are not Intel compatible.
