DoesVolumeSupportHidden Function
Overview
The DoesVolumeSupportHidden function checks a volume’s ability to support the hidden file attribute.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
boolean = DoesVolumeSupportHidden ( string name );
Parameters
name
A string specifying a volume. The string can contain path and file information so long as it resolves to a volume, UNC or cloud name.
Return Value
A boolean value as TRUE if the volume supports hidden files or FALSE if not.
Remarks
The volume is basically checked as being a Windows drive and then assumed to be NTFS or FAT. These in turn support hidden files.
