Chapter Eleven — SGML Functions (continued)
Overview
The HTMLAddPara function adds a complete paragraph to the HTML data set. The block class and style are automatically added to paragraph.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = HTMLAddPara ( handle hObject, string text, [string | dword align] );
Parameters
hObject
A handle to an HTML Writer Object.
text
A string containing text to be placed inside the paragraph. The text can be encoded as PCDATA or unencoded depending on the text mode.
align
An optional horizontal alignment as either a string or dword. If a string, the value must be “left”, “center”, “right” or “justify”. If a dword, it must be a properly formatted pvalue.
Return Value
An int as a ERROR_NONE (0) for no error or a formatted error code.
Remarks
The text inserted is treated as PCDATA or text depending on the mode set by HTMLSetTextMode. By default, the text is considered unencoded and is converted to PCDATA as it is added to the HTML data set.
HTMLAddPara adds data in open mode without style control.
