IsProcessAdministrator Function

Overview

The IsProcessAdministrator function tests whether the script is being run by a user with administrative privileges.

Syntax/Parameters

Syntax

boolean = IsProcessAdministrator ( );

Parameters

(none)

 

Return Value

Returns TRUE if the host application is running as an administrator or FALSE if it is not.

GetUserName — Gets the user name and various permutations.

IsConsoleApplication — Tests whether the platform the script is running from is a console application.

IsProcessElevated — Tests for host applications running as an elevated process.
