Overview
The OLEIEPost function performs a HTTP POST operation to send or retrieve information from a server via a specified Internet Explorer instance.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = OLEIEPost ( handle hOLE, string uri, string query );
Parameters
hOLE
A handle to an open OLE connection for a Internet Explorer instance.
uri
A string specifying the URI to post information.
query
A string specifying the query information. The query parts must be encoded.
Return Value
Returns an int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure.
Remarks
This function returns immediately even if the page has not finished loading. Use the OLEIEIsBusy function to determine the browser state.
