Overview
The OLEIERead function reads the current page from an Internet Explorer instance.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string = OLEIERead ( handle hOLE );
Parameters
hOLE
A handle to an open OLE connection to an Internet Explorer instance.
Return Value
Returns a string containing the current content or empty on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve a formatted error code.
Remarks
The page content may not be available depending on the browser state. Use the OLEIEIsBusy function to determine the browser state. This function will retrieve the current page contents. Javascript may have edited the DOM after the page was loaded or even after this function has been called.
