DataViewGetRowDataWord Function
Overview
The DataViewGetRowDataWord function returns the 32-bit caller data word for a specific row.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
dword = DataViewGetRowDataWord ( handle object, int index );
Parameters
object
A handle to either a Data View Object or to a window that employs Data View.
index
An int specifying a zero-based row index.
Return Value
Returns a dword containing the caller dword or 0 on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.
Remarks
The caller data word is a 32-bit value that can be used by programs to control certain information pertaining to a specific row. The raw Data View window does not use this value. However, many views built on Data View employ this value. Each specific view uses various bits to indicate conditions and editing data.
