DataViewFindCellByName Function
Overview
The DataViewFindCellByName function locates a cell by its named position.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string = DataViewFindCellByName ( handle object, string name );
Parameters
object
A handle either to a Data View Object or to a window that employs Data View.
name
A string containing the user-defined name of the cell.
Return Value
Returns a string containing the cell address of the corresponding cell or an empty string on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.
Remarks
Cells can contain optional names as defined by a template or as set programmatically. There is no fixed syntax for cell names and they need not be unique, though it is recommended that names remain unique within each datasheet.
