Chapter Sixteen — Application (continued)
Overview
The LoadPreferences function loads or reloads the application preferences from default file or from a specified file.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = LoadPreferences ( [string filename] );
Parameters
filename
An optional string specifying the file from which to load the settings. If omitted, the application preferences file will be used.
Return Value
An int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure.
Remarks
Prior to loading the data, the application preferences are reset to the default settings. See the ResetPreferences function.
If external settings are loaded, the user may overwrite the settings for the application by accessing the application preferences from the application menu (ribbon).
