Chapter Sixteen — Application (continued)
Overview
The SavePreferences function saves the preferences into the default application preferences file or to a specified file.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = SavePreferences ( [string filename] );
Parameters
filename
An optional string containing a filename and path to store the preferences. If omitted, the preferences are saved to the default location.
Return Value
An int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure.
Remarks
When using the default, the application cannot save over a preferences template file, if so enabled.
Specifying a file location for the settings does not change application setting or the location for the preferences.
