Version 5.25a of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release corresponds to EDGAR 24.4 and contains updates for Form N-4, Form 24F-2, and support for additional XBRL taxonomies. Please use the Check for Updates function to update your software to the latest version.
GoFiler Complete 5.25a
General EDGAR Updates
– Updated to EDGAR 24.4.
– Added EX-99.4p PWR ATTY, EX-99.4q ACCT LTR, and EX-99.4r HISTORIC to the exhibit list for Form N-4.
– Updated the validation for phone numbers to match each individual technical specification. Previously, the software was using the most restrictive validation for all phone numbers.
– Corrected an issue that would cause the Item Submission Type filed to be unusable.
Form 24F-2
– Updated to EDGAR 24.4.
– Item 6 has been removed and Items 7, 8 and 9 have become Items 6, 7 and 8 respectively.
– The application will still open forms created prior to this change but the values for the old Item 6 will be ignored.
– Updated language in the program and on the proof to match new SEC proof.
– Removed the OMB expiration date and reduced the estimated burden to 2 hours to match the SEC archive proof template.
SCHEDULE 13D/G Updates
– Made a number of improvements and corrections to the proof.
– The “Source of Funds” field is now marked as required.
– Validation will no longer report Items 1-10 for 13G and Items 1-7 for 13D as required for amendment forms.
Page View and HTML
– Corrected an issue with unresolved tab stops causing the conversion to stop without error.
– Beta versions of DOCX to HTML and XLSX to HTML have been added.

– Added support for the VIP 2024Q4 taxonomy.
– Added support for the OEF 2024Q3 taxonomy.
