Notice to Users Regarding Maintenance of License Server

Scheduled maintenance will be performed on the Licensing and Registration server for the GoFiler Suite on February 21, 2022 at 2:00pm Eastern. Maintenance will last approximately one hour. During this time, the server will be unavailable and will not be able to validate software keys.

New Release (5.12a) for the GoFiler Family of Products

Version 5.12a of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release corresponds to the changes made to EDGAR 21.4 on January 31, 2022 and contains support for the new EX-FILING FEES exhibit. Other changes include improvements to XDX processing, XBRL View, Page View, and the full release of Form 24F-2 View.

SEC Releases Taxonomy Compatibility for Newly Required Auditor Tags in the 2021Q4 DEI Taxonomy

The SEC previously announced that the 2021Q4 version of the Document and Entity Information (DEI) taxonomy, which includes the newly added elements for tagging auditor information required in Release No. 93701, is compatible only with the 2021 versions of other taxonomies. If a filer attempts to use the 2021Q4 version of the DEI taxonomy with the 2020 version of another taxonomy in the same filing, the filing will be suspended. New Release (5.11a) for the GoFiler Family of Products

Version 5.11a of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release corresponds to EDGAR 21.4 and contains new taxonomy information for DEI 2021q4 and for the CEF taxonomy. Other changes include some improvements to CSS shorthand processing and a correction to the stability of the software when proofing the new XML version of 24F-2NT.

New Release (5.10c) for the GoFiler Family of Products

Version 5.10c of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release contains the full beta features for the new Form 24F-2 View for editing Form 24F-2NT as XML. Other changes include improvements to the display of certain symbol characters in Page View, a feature to save the Export HTML options as workstation preferences, and a correction for XDX View.

GoFiler Release 5.10b Includes Beta Testing for Form 24F-2

The latest release (5.10b) of the GoFiler family of products includes a beta version of the new view for Form 24F-2 for editing Form 24F-2NT as XML. During the beta testing period, filers will be able to create a new submission Form Type 24F-2 and perform basic editing operations. Support for the Save and Open functions has also been added in the release. The Form 24F-2 is expected to be fully operational in time for the December release of GoFiler.
