The SEC’s Office of the Advocate for Small Business Capital Formation is hosting the 44th Annual Small Business Forum, an event for members of the public and private sectors to convene to discuss capital raising and develop suggestions for policy impacting emerging businesses and their investors. The forum will take place on April 10th, beginning at 1:00 p.m. ET., both in person and via live broadcast on sec.gov. {expires: 2025-04-11}
The forum will feature the following panels:
- Out of the Blocks: Strategies and Trends in Early-Stage Capital Raising
- Championing Innovation: A Spotlight on Entrepreneurs
- Teaming Up for Success: Game Plans for Growth-Stage Companies and Smaller Funds
- Small Cap Playbook: Entering and Advancing in the Public Market Arena
The event is free for the public to attend, and registration is not required for those attending remotely. Participants may suggest and prioritize policy recommendations on capital raising through April 9th at 5:00 p.m. ET. Following the event, a report with the compiled recommendations will be delivered to Congress
