Version 6.1a of GoFiler has been released. This release corresponds to EDGAR 25.2 and contains improvements to the library tools. In addition, modifications and improvements have been made to the Fee Exhibit Editor (FEE).
Please use the Check for Updates function to update your software to the latest version.
What’s in the Release
General Items
– The application will now display reminder messages if the software or AUP subscription is about to expire.
– Corrected a minor issue when manually entering a file path into the VFC browser without a trailing slash.
Data View
– Improved caret positioning after a copy and paste operation.
Technical Notes (Legato)
– The “Function Select” dialog, F6 quick key, now replaces the current selection.
– Added support for loading extensible enumerations to the concept table within the XBRL Module.
– Error testing has been improved to remove ambiguity.
– Added new event logging functions.
Page View and HTML
– Corrected an issue with selecting rows in tables and marking them with inline styles or revisions.
– Improved the new ‘DOCX to HTML’ conversion feature.
– Added log error message logging for picture, VML and image processing when such processing fails.
– Added presentation of an InfoView tab in the event of an error during image processing.
XBRL View
– Corrected multiple issues with XBRL export that could cause improper ordering of elements within a presentation.
XDX
– Improved the Prospectus Wizard.
– Special characters will no longer affect the wizard’s detection logic.
– Added Up and Down buttons on the first page of the wizard. These buttons move to the previous (Up) and next (Down) marked summary (or to the content the wizard flagged as a possible summary).
– Added an error message when an element is the total for more than one calculation.
– Changing the taxonomy from a User Defined Template to any other template will now remove the user defined template items from the taxonomy engram.
EDGAR iXBRL Fee Exhibit Editor
– Improvements to HTML template style control, available templates and customization.
– Added to Row Editing Functions for duplicate and move.
– Linked row and cell edit helpers for the N-2 ASR group of forms.
– Improved edit error report clearing on the status bar.
– Made improvements to the ordering of table 2 rows on HTML export.
– Made minor adjustments to improve the visibility of long form names.
– Corrected export errors on the odd condition for Schedule 13 type forms with missing table 1 data.
