XBRL US will hold a webinar that will focus on data quality rules related to US GAAP Taxonomy 2026. The webinar will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Eastern. The event is free and open to the public, though registration is required.
The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) jointly develops and maintains the DQC Rules Taxonomy (DQCRT) with the US GAAP Financial Reporting Taxonomy. The DQCRT comprises publicly accessible rules that issuers use to check the reliability and accuracy of their XBRL-formatted financials.
The webinar will feature industry experts that will discuss the following matters:
- rules to be added to the 2026 US GAAP Taxonomy
- how the rules are created by the XBRL US Data Quality Committee (DQC) and reviewed by the FASB
- FASB’s updated Meta Model, which will be out for public exposure
For more information, including the list of event speakers and registration instruction, please see the event’s webpage on xbrl.us.
