XBRL US will host a webinar to review and discuss the Open Information Model (OIM) Taxonomy Specification requirements document. The one-hour event is free and open for the public to attend and takes place Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 11 a.m. Eastern.
The OIM Taxonomy Specification updates and simplifies the XBRL specification with elements that facilitate implementation of data standards programs, generate data that is even more "AI-ready", and improve the ability to produce XBRL reports.
XBRL International has published the draft Requirements document for the specification for public review. Interested parties, including regulators, data scientists, developers, software providers, and members of XBRL US and XBRL International, are encouraged to submit feedback which will impact the final Requirements documents through February 16, 2026.
For more information, including registration instruction, please visit the event’s webpage on xbrl.us.
