On October 1, 2025, fee rates applicable to most securities transactions will be set at $138.10 per million dollars pursuant to the Order Making Fiscal Year 2026 Annual Adjustments to Registration Fee Rates. This represents a decrease from $153.10 per million dollars during the previous fiscal year. The new fee rate will be applied to the registration of securities under Section 6(b) of the Securities Act of 1933, the repurchase of securities under Section 13(e) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and proxy solicitations and specified tender offers under Section 14(g) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. On September 12th, the SEC published draft updates to the upcoming 2026 XBRL taxonomies for public comment. The SEC has released EDGAR 25.2.2, which incorporates requirements for EDGAR Next, the SEC's security, access, and account management improvements made to the EDGAR system. Enrollment in and compliance with EDGAR Next is now necessary to file on the EDGAR system. To be in compliance, filing entities must be enrolled in EDGAR Next by December 19, 2025, or have had their Form ID application for EDGAR access granted on or after March 24, 2025. On June 16th, the EDGAR system was upgraded to Release 25.2, which now supports the 2025 version of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) taxonomy. The 2025 version of the IFRS taxonomy is the same taxonomy version that the International Accounting Standards Board made available on March 27, 2025.
