SEC Issues Current Draft for Release 25.2.2 of the EDGAR Filer Manual

The SEC has released its draft of the EDGAR® Filer Manual, Volume II: "EDGAR Filing" (Version 76) to prepare issuers for potential updates to the EDGAR system scheduled to be implemented in EDGAR Release 25.2.2 on September 15, 2025. GoFiler 6.0c Now Available

Version 6.0c of GoFiler has been released. This release contains updates to some EDGAR Next functionality, as well as improvements and corrections to multiple EDGAR forms. In addition, users can now create custom XBRL templates combining known taxonomies. This update also contains multiple improvements to the Novaworks Fee Exhibit Editor (FEE). GoFiler 6.0b Now Available

Version 6.0b of GoFiler has been released. This release contains adjustments to certain EDGAR Next functions now that EDGAR Next is live, as well as adjustments to NSS to use EDGAR Next when the transition option is checked within GoFiler. GoFiler Patch Available for SEC Updates to Form SHO and SCHEDULE 13D/G

New Release (5.25b) for the GoFiler Family of Products

Version 5.25b of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This is a transition release to aid users in moving to GoFiler 6.0, which will be available in the coming weeks. In addition to all the many import, editing, proofing, validation, and filing features that are part of GoFiler, GoFiler 6.0 will be introducing some great improvements including: transitioning to a 64-bit platform (which will increase performance when handling large datasets), support for EDGAR Next, and enhanced customization through modules. New Release (5.24c) for the GoFiler Family of Products

Version 5.24c of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release contains improvements and corrections to Form N-PX, Form D, and Form ATS-N. Support for Form SHO is now available on a preliminary basis. Additionally, improvements were made to XDX and Inline XBRL. Additionally, changes were made to the Fee Exhibit Editor and to update the EDGAR Next capabilities to allow for transitional passwords. SEC Publishes 2025 Draft Taxonomies for Review and Comment

On September 18th, the SEC published the draft of the 2025 updates to its reporting taxonomies, including updates within the annual review and update process for all SEC taxonomies accepted in the EDGAR system.
